Dan Ramos

Dan Ramos (September 2, 1981 – January 28, 2023) was an American politician and member of the Democratic Party. He served as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 56th District from January 2011 to January 2019. Born and raised in Lorain, Ohio, Ramos graduated from Lorain Admiral King High School and studied political science at the Ohio State University. Prior to his political career, he worked as a policy analyst and legislative aide for Joseph Koziura and Speaker Armond Budish. Ramos successfully ran for office in 2010, winning the general election with 67.67% of the vote. He served on the committees of Finance, Public Utilities, and Economic Development, among others.
