Dani Klein

Dani Klein, born Danielle Schoovaerts on January 1, 1953, is a Belgian singer, songwriter, band leader, and producer. She is best known as the center and driving force behind the band Vaya Con Dios, which was active from 1986 to 1996, 2004 to 2014, and 2022 onwards. Apart from her work with Vaya Con Dios, Klein has also been a singer in various other musical projects. In the 1980s, she was a member of the electronic group Arbeid Adelt! and the bands Ladies Sing the Blues and Steelover. In 1999, Klein served as the lead singer for the Brussels band Purple Prose.
