Daniel Humm

Daniel Humm is a Swiss chef and restaurant owner, best known as the chef/owner of Eleven Madison Park. Born on September 21, 1976, Humm started his culinary journey in Switzerland before moving to the United States in 2003. He gained recognition as the executive chef at Campton Place in San Francisco, receiving four stars from the San Francisco Chronicle. In 2006, he took over as executive chef at Eleven Madison Park in New York, which he later purchased with his business partner in 2011. Under Humm's leadership, the restaurant achieved numerous accolades, including four stars from The New York Times, six James Beard Foundation Awards, three Michelin stars, and the top spot on The World's 50 Best Restaurants list in 2017.
