Daniel Kerr Biography
Daniel Alan Kerr (born 16 May 1983) is a former Australian rules footballer who played as a hard-running inside midfielder for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, Kerr was recruited to West Coast with the 18th pick in the 2000 National Draft. He played 220 games for the club between 2001 and 2013. Kerr achieved notable accolades during his career, finishing runner-up in the 2001 AFL Rising Star, winning the Goal of the Year award in 2003, and being named in the 2007 All-Australian team. Kerr played in a premiership-winning team in 2006. He retired from AFL football in 2013 due to injuries.
