Daniela Soto-Innes is a Mexican-born chef and the youngest chef to be named World's Best Female Chef by the World's 50 Best Restaurant. She was born in Mexico City and later moved to Texas at the age of 12. Soto-Innes was a competitive swimmer until the age of 20. She studied at Le Cordon Bleu in Austin, Texas, and received training in Europe and New York under renowned chefs like Danny Trace, Chris Shepherd, and Enrique Olvera. In 2014, she helped open the highly acclaimed Cosme restaurant in New York City, where she served as the Chef de Cuisine. Soto-Innes received the James Beard Award for Rising Star Chef in 2016 and was named one of the ten up-and-coming chefs by Travel Channel. She continues to make waves in the culinary world with her innovative approach to cooking.
