    Danny Hilman Natawidjaja Biography
    Danny Hilman Natawidjaja is an Indonesian geologist specializing in earthquake geology and geotectonics. He is affiliated with the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) Research Center for Geotechnology. Natawidjaja gained recognition for his research papers 'Neotectonics of the Sumatran Fault, Indonesia' (2000) and 'Paleo Geodesy of the Sumatra Subduction Zone' (2004), co-authored with Kerry Sieh. He has contributed significantly to the study of local tectonic plates in Indonesia and has made predictions about earthquakes on the west coast of Sumatra Island since 2000. Natawidjaja holds a BSc degree in geology from the Bandung Institute of Technology, an MSc degree (with Honors) in Geology from the University of Auckland, and a PhD in Geology from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).
