Darian Barnes

Darian Durrell Barnes, born February 28, 1980, is a former American football fullback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for various teams including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, and New Orleans Saints. He attended Toms River High School North and gained recognition as a talented running back. Barnes later received a football scholarship to Rutgers University but transferred to Hampton University. In his senior season at Hampton, he had limited playing time but managed to contribute with 27 carries for 93 yards and one touchdown, as well as one reception for 7 yards. Barnes was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Giants in 2002.
