Darilyn Castillo

Darilyn Castillo is a Dominican American actress, singer, songwriter, recording artist, poet, and podcast host. She gained recognition for her roles in various theater productions, including Hamilton (Puerto Rico Cast), Dreamgirls, and It Ain't Nothin But the Blues. Castillo received favorable reviews from reputable sources such as The New York Times, Backstage, and Playbill. In Hamilton, she initially joined the And Peggy Company and later moved to the Philip Company, portraying the characters of Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds. In 2022, Castillo starred in the world premiere of the play Dream Hou$e, originating the role of Julia. Apart from her acting career, she is also a talented recording artist, having released an EP titled 'Constellation' and several music videos. Additionally, she hosts the podcast 'Morenita,' which explores the Latinx experience. Castillo is of Dominican descent and is a graduate of Suffern High.
