Darin Morgan Biography
Darin Morgan (born 1966) is an American screenwriter known for his offbeat and darkly humorous episodes on television. He gained prominence for his work on the series The X-Files and Millennium. Morgan's teleplay for the X-Files episode 'Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose' won an Emmy Award in 1996 for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series. He later wrote and directed episodes for The X-Files in 2015 and 2017. Born in Syracuse, New York, Morgan studied film at Loyola Marymount University. He co-wrote a short film that led to a three-picture deal with TriStar Pictures. In addition to his writing career, Morgan has made small guest appearances on The Commish and 21 Jump Street. He is the younger brother of writer and director Glen Morgan.
