    Darren Cahill is an Australian tennis coach and former professional tennis player. Born on October 2, 1965, Cahill turned professional in 1984 and had a successful career in both singles and doubles. He won his first tour doubles title at the Melbourne Outdoor tournament in 1985 and his first top-level singles title at New Haven in 1987. Cahill's best singles performance at a Grand Slam event came in 1988 at the US Open, where he reached the semifinals. He was also a runner-up in men's doubles at the 1989 Australian Open. Today, Cahill is a tennis analyst for the Grand Slam events on ESPN and is involved with the Adidas Player Development Program and ProTennisCoach.com.
