Darren Hynes

Darren Hynes (born 12 January 1999) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a defender for Scottish League Two club Clyde. He began his career in the youth academy of Greenock Morton, where he made his professional debut in May 2018 against Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Hynes has also had a loan spell at Gretna 2008. In September 2020, he joined Gretna 2008 on loan until January 2021, before returning to Morton. However, in January 2023, Hynes signed an 18-month deal with Scottish League One club Clyde. Throughout his career, he has won the SPFL Development League West twice, in the seasons of 2015-16 and 2017-18.
