Darren Jeffries

Darren Jon-Jeffries (born March 2, 1982) is an English actor, writer, and presenter. He is best known for his portrayal of Sam 'O.B.' O'Brien in the popular Channel 4 soap-opera Hollyoaks. Jeffries has also gained recognition for hosting shows such as Freshly Squeezed and Red Bull Rivals on Channel 4, as well as Text Santa on ITV2. Born in Wrexham, Wales, Jeffries attended Padgate Community High School in Warrington. He later joined Padgate High Sixth Form College, where he studied Business, English Literature, English Language, and Drama. At the age of fourteen, Jeffries joined an acting course in Warrington and was subsequently discovered by a North-West acting agency, leading to his audition and eventual role in Hollyoaks.
