Darren Powell

Darren David Powell (born 10 March 1976) is an English footballer manager and former professional footballer. He played as a centre-back and had a successful career, appearing over 250 times in the Football League and Premier League. Powell is currently the academy manager for Crystal Palace. After retiring from playing, he transitioned into coaching and managing, initially with Hampton & Richmond Borough, before eventually joining Crystal Palace as an academy coach. Powell is known for his tough-tackling style as a centre-back and has made significant contributions to the teams he has played for and coached.
