David Haig Collum Ward (born 20 September 1955) is an English actor and playwright. With a career spanning four decades, Haig has appeared in numerous West End productions, as well as various television and film roles. He gained recognition as a playwright with his play My Boy Jack, which premiered in 1997. Haig also wrote The Good Samaritan, first staged in 2000, and Pressure, which premiered in 2014. In addition to his work as a playwright, Haig has had notable acting roles, including playing Rudyard Kipling in the television drama adaptation of My Boy Jack. He also starred in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead alongside Daniel Radcliffe in 2017, and portrayed Bill in the acclaimed series Killing Eve in 2018. Haig was honored with the appointment as a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE).
