    David McKittrick Biography
    David McKittrick (born 1949) is a Belfast-born journalist who has reported on Northern Ireland since 1971. He began his career as a reporter for the East Antrim Times and later joined the Irish Times in 1973. McKittrick has held various editorial positions throughout his career, including Northern editor and London editor for the Irish Times, as well as working for BBC Northern Ireland and The Independent. He is widely recognized for his extensive knowledge and balanced reporting on Northern Ireland and has received numerous awards for his work, including the Christopher Ewart-Biggs Memorial Prize and the Orwell Prize for Journalism. McKittrick's book, Lost Lives, was adapted into a documentary in 2019.
