David Ramsey Biography
David Paul Ramsey (born November 17, 1971) is an American actor and director. He is best known for his roles in The CW Arrowverse series such as Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Batwoman, where he portrays the character John Diggle / Spartan. Ramsey has also appeared in other TV shows like Legends of Tomorrow, Superman & Lois, and Dexter, where he played the roles of Bass Reeves, an alternate universe version of Diggle, and Anton Briggs, respectively. He has also starred in the film Mother and Child (2009) as Joseph. Ramsey was born in Detroit, Michigan and graduated from Wayne State University. Prior to his Arrowverse roles, he starred in the UPN sitcom Good News and portrayed Muhammad Ali in the television film Ali: An American Hero.
