David Robb Biography
David Robb (born 23 August 1947) is a Scottish actor known for his work in British films and television shows. He was born in Wandsworth, London and grew up in Edinburgh, where he attended the Royal High School. Robb has appeared in various films, including Swing Kids and Hellbound. He gained recognition for his role as Germanicus in the 1976 BBC production of I, Claudius, and as Robin Grant in Thames Television's 1981 series The Flame Trees of Thika. Robb's breakthrough role came in the TV miniseries First Among Equals in 1986, where he portrayed Andrew Fraser MP. He is also known for his role as Dr Clarkson in the television drama series Downton Abbey.
