    Fernando David Saucedo, better known as David Saucedo, is an Argentine professional boxer born on January 13, 1981. Following in his father's footsteps, who was also a boxer and now serves as his coach, Saucedo has had a successful career in the sport. He had the opportunity to compete for the WBA (Super) featherweight title against Chris John on December 5, 2010, but was defeated by Unanimous Decision after 12 rounds. In his first defense of the IBF super featherweight title, Saucedo faced unbeaten Rances Barthelemy on October 4, 2014, also resulting in a defeat by Unanimous Decision after 12 rounds. On January 27, 2018, Saucedo faced Ghana's Emmanuel Tagoe in a controversial match where Tagoe successfully defended his IBO lightweight belt by stopping Saucedo in round 10.
