David James Sawyer (born 1983) is an American politician and member of the Democratic Party. He served as a member of the Washington House of Representatives from 2013 to 2019. In February 2018, allegations of misconduct were made against Sawyer, and his contact with staff was restricted. Several women accused him of unprofessional and inappropriate behavior. Despite these allegations, Sawyer did not resign but awaited the results of the review. However, he placed third in the 2018 Washington primary and did not advance to the general election.
