Dean Hill Biography
Dean Hill (October 26, 1986 - September 5, 2021) was an Iroquois lacrosse player who competed in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). He was selected in the 2005 NLL Entry Draft by the Minnesota Swarm, joining the team after a successful season with the St. Catharines Spartans in the OJBLL. Hill showcased his talent by scoring 80 points in 20 games, leading the team in scoring and ranking 5th in the league in goals and 7th in overall scoring. After a productive second season, he was traded to the Rochester Knighthawks due to playing time issues. In 2009, Hill was traded once again, this time to the Edmonton Rush. Additionally, he represented the Iroquois Nationals in multiple major international events, earning silver medals in the 2007 and 2011 World Indoor Lacrosse Championships.
