    DeAngelo Williams Biography
    DeAngelo Chondon Williams is an American former football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL). Born on April 25, 1983, Williams played college football for the Memphis Tigers and was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played alongside Jonathan Stewart in Carolina until his release in 2014. From 2015 to 2016, Williams played for the Pittsburgh Steelers. After retiring from football, he briefly pursued a career in professional wrestling. Williams was known as the top running back in the state of Arkansas in 2001, having excelled at Wynne High School where he broke records and earned All-State honors.
