    Deanna Smith (born 24 December 1980) is an Australian former professional basketball player. She is best known for her time spent in the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL), where she played for the Adelaide Lightning and the Perth Lynx. Smith emerged as a talented player with the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in the late 1990s, winning the 1999 WNBL championship. She also played wheelchair basketball with the Women's National Wheelchair Basketball League (WNWBL), becoming the first player to play in both the WNBL and WNWBL. Smith had successful stints playing overseas in England, Portugal, Russia, and Italy. She was selected for the Australian Opals and showcased her skills with career-high numbers during her time in the WNBL.
