Deborah Pratt

Deborah Pratt is an American director, writer, novelist, television producer, actress, singer, and songwriter. She was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois to Geraldine Marian and Col. Bertram Roberson Pratt. Pratt comes from African-American and Creole descent and has four sisters. She earned a degree in Psychology from Webster University and studied Theatre at The Conservatory of Theatre Arts. Pratt started her career in Chicago theatre and was discovered through a nationwide search that brought her to Los Angeles. She appeared on The Dean Martin Show with The Golddiggers and also acted in various television series, including Magnum, P.I., Happy Days, The New Odd Couple, and Benson.
