Deniz Seki is a Turkish pop singer, songwriter, and composer, born on July 1, 1970, in Istanbul, Turkey. She completed her education at Çamlıca High School for Girls. In her career, Seki has worked as a vocalist for well-known singers such as Kenan Doğulu, Emel Müftüoğlu, and Zuhal Olcay. She gained recognition after winning the first prize at the song contest 'Pop-Show 1995' with a song she wrote the lyrics for. Seki released her debut album, 'Hiç kimse Değilim,' in 1997, followed by her successful second album, 'Anlattım,' in 1999. She has also appeared on TRT and collaborated with composer Melih Kibar and clarinet-player Hüsnü Şenlendirici.
