Derek Ugochukwu
Derek Ugochukwu, born on June 7, 1991, is a Nigerian director, writer, and actor. He studied at Dun Laoghaire Institute Of Art Design and Technology in Dublin. Ugochukwu was named one of Screen International Rising Stars of Ireland. He began his career with roles in various short films before landing the role of 'Father Okocha' in the film 'Honest', which premiered at the 2018 Galway Film Fleadh. In the same year, he portrayed 'Crooks' in the Mill Theatre production of 'Of Mice and Men'. Ugochukwu also appeared as 'Abu Al Jabar' in the 2020 Crime Drama Series 'Cold Courage'. He holds a 1st class master's degree in Screenwriting for Film & Television and a master's degree in international management and global business.
