Desmond Chiam

Desmond Chiam is an Australian actor of Chinese Singaporean descent. He is best known for his roles as Wyatt Cole on Reef Break, General Riga on The Shannara Chronicles, and Dovich on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Chiam holds a law degree from the University of Melbourne and a master's degree in screenwriting from the University of Southern California. Initially pursuing a career as a lawyer, he later transitioned into breakdancing and acting. Chiam began his acting career in short films in Australia before appearing in Australian television series such as Neighbours and Better Man. He has since moved to Los Angeles and has appeared in American television series including NCIS: Los Angeles and Bones.
