Dexter Fletcher Biography
Dexter Fletcher (born January 31, 1966) is an English film director and actor. He gained recognition for his roles in Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Hotel Babylon, and the HBO series Band of Brothers. Fletcher's acting career began with his role as Baby Face in the 1976 film Bugsy Malone. He made his directorial debut with Wild Bill in 2011 and went on to direct Sunshine on Leith (2013) and Eddie the Eagle (2015). Fletcher replaced Bryan Singer as the director of the biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, released in 2018, and directed Rocketman, a film based on Elton John's life, in 2019. He trained at the Anna Scher Theatre.
