Diana Eng

Diana Eng is a Chinese-American fashion designer, author, and fashion technologist based in New York. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, she attended Stanton College Preparatory School before pursuing a BFA in Apparel Design at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Eng gained recognition as a contestant on the second season of the reality television program Project Runway. She is also the co-founder of NYC Resistor, an art/electronic group, and authored the book 'Fashion Geek'. Eng's innovative designs were showcased in the Seamless: Computational Couture fashion show hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). With fellow RISD grad Emily Albinski, she designed a dress that could inflate into a ball gown shape with the push of a button.
