Diane Carey
Diane L. Carey-Brodeur, born on October 2, 1954, is an American fiction writer known for her work in the Star Trek franchise. She has published under the pen names Lydia Gregory, Diane Carey, and D. L. Carey. Carey's first publication was a romance novel written as Lydia Gregory. She has also written children's novels, but her best-known works are in the Star Trek universe. She was the lead-off writer for two Star Trek spin-off book series, Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Enterprise. Carey's literary work has been recognized and highlighted at Michigan State University in their Michigan Writers Series. She currently resides in Michigan with her husband, Gregory E. Brodeur, and their three children: Lydia, Gordon, and Ben.
