Dick Enberg Biography
Richard Alan Enberg (January 9, 1935 – December 21, 2017) was an American sportscaster known for his play-by-play commentary on various sports. He had a career spanning approximately 60 years, during which he worked for radio and television networks including NBC, CBS, and ESPN. Enberg provided commentary for teams such as the UCLA Bruins basketball, Los Angeles Rams football, and California Angels and San Diego Padres baseball. He was recognized for his on-air catchphrases 'Touch 'em all' for home runs and 'Oh, my!' for exciting plays. Additionally, Enberg hosted the Tournament of Roses Parade for many years. He retired from broadcasting in 2016 after seven seasons as the Padres' primary television announcer.
