Dominique Crenn

Dominique Crenn (born 1965) is a French chef known for her culinary expertise. She is the only female chef in the United States to have attained three Michelin stars, which she achieved for her renowned restaurant Atelier Crenn, located in San Francisco. Crenn has made notable appearances on various television shows, including the Food Network. Originally from Locronan, she was adopted at a young age and spent her summers on a family farm in Brittany. Her mother's diverse culinary influences and her father's connections to the food industry shaped Crenn's passion for cooking. Despite the male-dominated French culinary scene, Crenn pursued higher education in economics and international business before embarking on her successful career as a chef.
