Don Castro
Don Castro (born December 28, 1949) is an American former professional motorcycle racer and an inductee of the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame. He began his racing career as a teenager in Hollister, California, where he gained a reputation for his skills on a Honda 90cc motorcycle. Castro's talent and determination led him to become a works rider for Triumph and Yamaha, as well as a privateer on Triumph, Montesa, Yamaha, and Kawasaki machines. Despite a serious injury early in his career, Castro made a successful comeback and continued to compete at an expert level. His life and racing career were the inspiration for the 1990 film 'Learning Curve.'
