Dora Cadavid

Dora Cadavid (23 November 1937 – 31 January 2022) was a Colombian actress, singer, and announcer. With a career spanning over 60 years, Cadavid appeared in over 45 television and theatre productions. She made her debut at the age of ten in the play Doña Inés vuelve al convento. However, Cadavid initially started her career as a declamator for the radio show La voz de Antioquia. She was discovered by producer Fausto Cabrera, which led to her involvement in theater. Cadavid's most notable role was in Fernando Gaitán's popular soap opera, Yo soy Betty, la fea. In addition to her acting career, Cadavid also had her own radio station in Medellín called Ondas Femeninas.
