Dua Saleh

Dua Saleh (دعاء صالح) is a Sudanese-American singer and actor based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They gained critical acclaim with the release of their debut EP Nūr in January 2019, followed by their second EP Rosetta in June the following year. Saleh, who immigrated to the United States from Sudan as a child, developed a passion for poetry at a young age. While attending Augsburg University, they ventured into music and released a demo in 2017. Collaborating with local producer Psymun, Saleh started performing their music live and gained recognition for their versatile sound, blending rap, pop, and R&B. In addition to their music career, Saleh has acted in theater productions in Minneapolis and is known for their recurring role as Cal Bowman in the Netflix series Sex Education.
