Dylan John Jones OBE (born 1960) is an English journalist and author. He is best known for his role as the editor of the UK version of men's fashion and lifestyle magazine GQ from 1999 to 2021. Jones has held senior positions in other publications such as i-D and Arena magazines, and has contributed weekly columns to newspapers The Independent and The Mail on Sunday. He has also authored multiple books, including 'When Ziggy Played Guitar: David Bowie and Four Minutes that Shook the World' and 'The Biographical Dictionary of Popular Music.' Born in Ely, Cambridgeshire, Jones attended Chelsea School of Art and Saint Martin's School of Art. He was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2013 for his contributions to the publishing and British fashion industries.
