Ed Bradley
Ed Bradley (1941-2006) was an American broadcast journalist and news anchor best known for his work on 60 Minutes and CBS News. Starting his career as a radio news reporter in Philadelphia, Bradley covered significant events such as the 1964 Philadelphia race riot. He later moved to New York City and Paris, where he reported on the Paris Peace Accords and the Vietnam War. Bradley earned recognition for his coverage, winning awards such as the Alfred I. duPont and George Polk awards. In addition to his reporting, Bradley became the first African American White House correspondent for CBS News, contributing to the network's coverage of Jimmy Carter's presidential campaign.
