Ed Moran

Ed Moran (born May 27, 1981) is a retired track and road runner who specialized in various long-distance disciplines. He won a gold medal in the 5000-meter race at the 2007 Pan American Games and represented the United States at two IAAF World Cross Country Championships in 2008 and 2009. In 2011, Moran finished 9th in the New York City Marathon. He grew up in Lawrenceville, New Jersey and attended Notre Dame High School, where he discovered his passion for running. Moran went on to study and compete at the College of William & Mary, becoming a four-time All-American despite facing numerous injuries throughout his collegiate career.
