Ed Peck Biography
Ed Peck (March 26, 1917 – September 12, 1992) was an American actor best known for his role as Officer Kirk in the television series Happy Days (1975–1983). Born in New York City on March 26, 1917, Peck began his career in the 1950s and specialized in playing police officers or military officers. He played a captain in the Broadway production of No Time for Sergeants (1955) and appeared in numerous television shows and films from 1951 to 1983. Peck replaced Eric Fleming in the title role of Major Dell Conway of the Flying Tigers on the DuMont Television Network in 1951. In his later years, he appeared in memorable roles on All in the Family, Barney Miller, and Happy Days.
