    Eddie Carroll Biography
    Eddie Carroll (September 5, 1933 – April 6, 2010) was a Canadian actor, best known as the third performer to voice Jiminy Cricket for over 35 years. Carroll studied at the Orion theater with Robert Goulet in Canada, then moved to Hollywood in 1956 to work as a writer and producer for NBC. Drafted into the US Army, he performed with the Armed Forces Radio Service and the 6th Army Chorus. Adopting the name Eddie Carroll in 1959, he released a comedy album in 1960 and co-wrote the song 'How Is Julie?' in 1962. Carroll had numerous TV and commercial appearances starting in the early 1960s and later co-developed the sports-talk program 'Man to Man' and a Saturday morning animated series for Hanna-Barbera.
