Edward Grover Biography
Edward Grover (October 23, 1932 – November 22, 2016) was an American film, stage, and television actor. He is best known for his role as Lieutenant Hal Brubaker, Tony Baretta's supervisor, in the detective television series Baretta. Grover also appeared as Inspector Lombardo in the 1973 film Serpico. Born in Huntington Park, California, Grover attended DeVilbiss High School in Toledo and later graduated from the University of Toledo. He then pursued postgraduate study at the University of Texas at Austin and trained at the American Shakespeare Festival Academy and Juilliard School. Grover began his acting career in 1959, performing with various theater companies such as the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the McCarter Company.
