Edward Judge

Edward Thomas Judge (c. 1909–1992) was an English engineer and industrialist. He had a successful career at Dorman Long, a steel and bridge company, where he played a significant role in the design and construction of iconic structures like the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Tyne Bridge. Judge's expertise led him to set up the Lackenby Universal Beam Mill, which became a major supplier of steel in the UK. He eventually became Chief Engineer and joint Managing Director at Dorman Long. In 1965, he was appointed President of the British Iron and Steel Federation. Judge also authored the book 'Dorman Long: a concise history' in 1992.
