EJ Snyder

EJ Snyder, born Errol James Snyder Jr. on December 3, 1965, is an American survivalist, television personality, and actor. He was born in Englewood, New Jersey, and grew up in North Jersey, where he developed an interest in strength training and self-defense due to childhood bullying. At the age of 19, Snyder joined the United States Army, serving in the Gulf War in 1991 and the Iraq War in 2004. Throughout his military career, he achieved numerous accolades, including two Bronze Stars and the Legion of Merit. After retiring as a sergeant major in 2009, Snyder appeared on television, making his debut on the show Lost as Redfern in 2009. He currently resides in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
