Eleanor Robson
Eleanor Robson (born 1969) is a British Assyriologist and academic. She currently serves as Professor of Ancient Middle Eastern History at University College London. Robson has held prestigious positions such as the chair of the British Institute for the Study of Iraq and a Quondam fellow of All Souls College, Oxford. She is also a Fellow of the British Academy. Robson earned a BSc in mathematics from the University of Warwick in 1990, and a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) degree from the University of Oxford in 1995. Her research focuses on ancient Mesopotamian mathematics and she has authored numerous publications in the field.
