Elysia Rotaru

Elysia Rotaru (born November 9, 1984) is a Canadian actress known for her role as Taiana Venediktov in the television series Arrow. Born in Vancouver to Romanian parents, Rotaru is fluently bilingual in English and Romanian. She began her artistic journey at a young age, taking dance classes and participating in school plays and piano recitals. After initially pursuing a degree in psychology at Simon Fraser University, she switched to theater and earned a degree in Fine Arts with a specialty in theater. Rotaru has made appearances in various television series such as Psych, Eureka, Smallville, Supernatural, and Hellcats. She has also starred in the film Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules. In addition to her acting career, Rotaru has studied traditional Chinese medicine.
