Emiliano Torres

Emiliano Torres (born December 5, 1971) is an Argentine film director, screenplay writer, and producer. He graduated from the Fundación Universidad del Cine of Buenos Aires in 1991, specializing in directing. Since 1996, he has worked as an assistant director and screenwriter on numerous national and international films shot in South America and Europe. Torres has collaborated with notable European directors such as Marco Bechis, Miguel Courtois, and Emanuele Crialese. In 2016, he made his directorial debut with the film 'The Winter' (El invierno). Torres has also written screenplays for films like 'Waiting for the Messiah' (Esperando al mesías), 'Every Stewardess Goes to Heaven' (Todas las azafatas van al cielo), and 'Whisky Romeo Zulu' (2004), among others.
