Emilio Rivera

Emilio Rivera (born February 24, 1961) is an American film and television actor and stand-up comedian. He gained recognition for his role as Marcus Álvarez in the popular TV series Sons of Anarchy and its spin-off, Mayans M.C. Rivera is known for his portrayal of criminals and law enforcement officers. He was raised in Elysian Valley, also known as Frogtown, a neighborhood in Los Angeles, California. Rivera, who is of Mexican descent, overcame a stuttering problem and discovered his passion for acting after performing in a theatre production during his childhood. Before pursuing acting, he served in the U.S. Army. Rivera has appeared in several TV shows and movies throughout his career, showcasing his versatility as an actor.
