Emilio Sosa (born February 23, 1967) is a Dominican-American costume designer known for his work on Broadway. He is a Tony Award-nominated costume designer and has worked on productions such as Topdog/Underdog, Porgy and Bess, and By the Way, Meet Vera Stark. Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Emilio grew up in South Bronx, New York City. He developed an interest in fashion and design at a young age and pursued his passion by attending Art and Design High School and Pratt Institute. Emilio's career started at Grace Costumes, where he worked his way up to become Creative Director in 2006. He is currently the Chair for the American Theatre Wing Board of Trustees in New York City.
