Emily Axford

Emily Axford is an American actress, writer, and producer. She gained recognition through her roles in CollegeHumor videos and her portrayal of Emily on the truTV comedy Adam Ruins Everything. Axford is also known for her work on the Pop original Hot Date, where she produced and acted alongside her husband Brian K. Murphy. Raised in the suburbs of Albany, New York, Axford holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in religion from George Washington University. She honed her comedy skills at the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York City and Los Angeles before delving into internet sketch comedy. Axford was a writer and actress for CollegeHumor from 2011 to 2017 and co-starred in both the CollegeHumor and TruTV versions of Adam Ruins Everything from 2015 to 2019.
