Emily Hall
Emily Hall is a composer known for her work in classical music, electronica, and songs. Born in 1978, she has had her music performed by renowned ensembles such as the Duke Quartet, London Symphony Orchestra, Brodsky Quartet, London Sinfonietta, and the Philharmonia. Her compositions have been featured on BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 4, and France Culture. Hall studied music at the University of York and later pursued orchestration with Yan Maresz in Paris. She obtained her master's degree in Composition from the Royal College of Music under the guidance of Julian Anderson. As a founding member of c3, the Camberwell Composers Collective, and a member of the Icelandic record label/collective Bedroom Community, Hall continuously explores new ways of incorporating technology and live performance into her music.
