Eric Ducharme

Eric Jonathan Ducharme, also known as "The Mertailor", is an American mermaid aficionado, artist, and businessman. Born on June 23, 1990, Ducharme developed a passion for mermaids at a young age. Inspired by the mermaids at Weeki Wachee Springs State Park, he began making mermaid tails from plastic bags and eventually hand-sewed his first fabric tails. Ducharme's talent and dedication led to him performing in and modeling his own mermaid costumes. At just 15 years old, he established his own website to sell his creations, and by age 16, he was swimming and performing underwater professionally. Today, Ducharme is known for his mermaid-related costume apparel and continues to be a prominent figure in the mermaid community.
